Frequently Asked Questions

What types of appointments do you offer?

The Good Place Sydney offers face-to-face, online, and telephone appointments, allowing you to choose the format that best suits your needs, lifestyle, and comfort level.

How long are the sessions?

Not everyone needs a full hour, and flexibility matters.

Sessions are available as:

  • 30-minute sessions
  • 45-minute sessions
  • 60-minute sessions

Shorter sessions can be particularly helpful for children and adolescents, busy parents, and those working full-time, allowing support to fit more easily into everyday life.

Do you offer walk-and-talk sessions?

Yes — walk-and-talk sessions are available.

Noella is a strong believer in making the most of time and movement. These sessions allow you to talk through what’s on your mind while walking outdoors, helping you feel grounded, present, and connected to your environment. Many people find the combination of movement, conversation, and nature both calming and supportive.

Who do you work with?

Support is available for:

  • Individuals
  • Children and adolescents
  • Couples
  • Families
  • Parents
  • Groups (including anxiety, stress, and mental health education for children)

What approaches do you use?

Support is guided by evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, always adapted to suit the person, family, or group being supported.

What are the fees?

The fee is $220 per hour.
Fees for 30-minute and 45-minute sessions are calculated proportionally.

How are appointments booked and paid for?

Appointments are secured with payment at the time of booking.
This helps reserve the session time specifically for you and allows Noella to focus fully on providing care, rather than managing payments or follow-up.

What is the cancellation policy?

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice without charge.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or non-attendance, will incur the full session fee, as the appointment time has been reserved exclusively and is often unable to be filled at short notice.

Why is this policy in place?

This approach supports fairness, respect for everyone’s time, and ensures consistent availability of care. Where possible, understanding and discretion are always applied.

Do you offer bulk billing?

No, bulk billing is not offered.

What if I need support outside your scope?

If Noella feels another service or specialist would better meet your needs, she will help connect you with the right professional. With a wide network of trusted colleagues, the priority is always ensuring your time, energy, and money are respected, and that you receive the most appropriate support.
